Hi, my name is Elijah Williams! I am 27. I have been playing drums for the better part of 20 years now. I have played for several bands, churches and gig sessions. I record for bands locally and across the U.S. My preferred genre is death and progressive metal, but I play contemporary, rock, funk, and indie. It’s been a wild ride, and I want to share my musical journey.
I am an aircraft engine mechanic by day, working musician by night, and this is my website. I live between Goldsboro and Wilmington NC with some drumsticks and a goal to my best in life.
I play tama drums, evans heads and use meinl cymbals. My IEMs are sure 535s and I use Pearl 932 demon drive double kick pedals. I take inspiration from Matt Gartska(Animals as Leaders), Alex Rudinger, Anike Nilles(Nevell), Chris Coleman, Anthony Barone, Anup Sastry, Mike Malyan(Monuments) and many others. I believe it is important to challenge one’s self against others and push the boundaries of what one has considered possible.
